Our Junior Gardener Program assists a local elementary school with a butterfly garden.
The Garden Council stages a large Flower Show every other year at local area attractions. This show is held in accordance to all NGC Standards.
Arbor Day is celebrated annually with a tree planting by members. In 2012, a coconut palm was installed at the historic Edison-Ford Winter Estates as a tribute to all Past Presidents of the Council.
The Mina Edison Botanical Library houses many books and magazines dealing with all aspects of gardening and floral design for the pleasure of members.
The Fort Myers – Lee County Garden Council, Inc. meeting rooms are used by several area clubs to hold meetings, picnics and other special events.
