The Fort Myers-Lee County Garden Council participates in a variety of regular council and community events.

Flower Show

The Garden Council stages a large Flower Show every other year at local area attractions. This show is held in accordance to all NGC Standards.

Arbor Day

Arbor Day is celebrated annually with a tree planting by members.

Open House

Our annual Open House includes demonstrations, sales, informational booths from affiliate members, and tours.

Berne Davis Honorary Service Award

The Berne Davis Honorary Service Award honors a local leader’s commitment and service annually.

Presidents’ Tea

President’s Tea provides a comfortable environment for local tea and society club presidents to share solutions to challenges and support.

Other Events

Other recent events include a bus trip to Epcot’s FFGC Flower Show, Art In Bloom with the Edison & Ford Winter Estates, Holiday Night at the Edison& Ford Winter Estates, and innumerable events held by member clubs and societies.
